La conciergerie
Originally the Vieille Conciergerie, this charming cottage once housed the estate’s caretakers, with the last concierge and his family living here from 1886 to 1941. Set within the Maison du Burguerieu grounds with privacy assured, it is an ideal place to stay if you are looking to immerse yourself in the true history and character of this region.
The cottage has been fully renovated from a derelict building to a charming character filled self contained apartment. It retains many original features while offering modern comfort across 160m² of living space. The cottage accommodates up to three couples, or two couples and two children, with two large bedrooms and one medium-sized bedroom.
The open-plan layout includes a wonderful kitchen, spacious dining and sitting areas, and a private outdoor seating area. Guests also enjoy access to a pool, garden and walled garden making it an ideal retreat for families or groups of friends.
The single bedroom
A comfortable, bright single bedroom, situated next to the primary bedroom and bathroom. The room is large enough for a travelling cot if you would like small children to remain together. Contains dresser, open fireplace, polished wood floors.
The loft bedroom
The converted loft offers 45m² of bright, open space, featuring a king-size bed at each end, along with a wardrobe and dressing table.
Accessed via stairs from the dining area below, it’s an ideal hideaway for children or a group of friends.
With its exposed beams and tucked-away feel, it offers a sense of privacy and separation from the other bedrooms.

The sitting room
The cottage has been brought into the 21st century offering stylish understatement and discreet luxury while respecting the historical character of the building.
The entire ground floor is open plan with views of the garden. There is ample room to cook, lounge and dine, the perfect spot to relax in style after a day exploring.
The 30m² sitting room on the ground floor is bright and welcoming, with comfortable chairs and couches.
The Kitchen
The spacious family kitchen is fully equipped ,stocked with plenty of glasses and plates, and cooking equipment.
We provide an induction stove top , electric oven, large fridge, wine fridge and dish washer.
The perfectly appointed kitchen provides all the essentials for a relaxing, stress-free holiday. Here you can prepare fresh ingredients sourced from one of the many local farmers’ markets.
Bright and functional, it’s ideal for leisurely breakfasts or long enjoyable alfresco dining on a choice of two terraces.
The Bathroom
The bathroom includes a walk in double shower, sink, and toilet, t heated towel rail, all neatly arranged for convenience and comfort.
Step next door into the primary bedroom , where you’ll find a free-standing, luxurious, deep bathtub, perfect for a soak for one or enjoyed by two.
The Garden & Swimming Pool
Ideally positioned to make the most of the garden and sunshine it’s the perfect space to feel instantly relaxed. The cottage provides the perfect blend of comfort and convenience offering a serene escape from the everyday. Enjoy relaxed meals on two paved terraces. As you can see from the photo the pool is situated in a beautiful private garden complete with sun loungers, parasol, charcoal barbecue, table and chairs.
A dedicated BBQ area makes it perfect for relaxed alfresco meals.
